“PROMoting Youth Social Entrepreneurship” (PROMYSE)

PROMoting Youth Social Entrepreneurship” (PROMYSE), financed by Erasmus+ Programme, was a youth-led, transnational project that aims at enhancing the quality and relevance of the learning offer in education, training and youth work by developing a new, innovate and youth-led course for young prospective social entrepreneurs (with an emphasis on NEETS), and by supporting the adoption of best practices in promoting social entrepreneurship in the health and social care fields.

The main tool developed by the project was an online space, where youth with academic or professional experience in health and social care field that wish to engage in social entrepreneurship (with focus on health and social care), or are exploring such opportunity, will be able to familiarise themselves with entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship principles and sector specific demands and follow a comprehensive course to enhance/develop their knowledge and skills in setting up, managing and sustaining a social enterprise. This platform, developed Canary Wharf Consulting, was complemented by gamification elements that promote youth engagement and facilitate the learning procedure, while it also includes a networking area that enables users to exchange experiences, concerns and ideas, seek opportunities for collaborations and support each other in their ambitious effort.
